Research in Addiction Medicine Scholars (RAMS) Program

The RAMS Program is recruiting addiction medicine fellows interested in pursuing research!

RAMS is a two-year supplemental program to one’s addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry fellowship and open to fellows who are considering a future academic research dimension in their career. For those enrolled in a one year fellowship, we are looking for individuals who plan to enter into an academic position.

  • RAM Scholars are eligible for up to $8,000 to facilitate the development of their research training
  • RAM Scholars receive additional training in addiction research
  • RAMS Program provides mentorship by NIDA-funded experts in addiction research
  • RAM Scholars attend a 3 day retreat in Boston annually
  • RAM Scholars are supported to attend the annual national meeting of The College on Problems of Drug Dependence (CPDD)

Please see the attached brochure for additional information. The next Boston Retreat will be held November 26-29, 2018 and applications for our next cohort of Scholars are due Tuesday, September 4th. The RAMS Program is funded by a grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).
